Temnodontosaurus sp.

Temnodontosaurus is a genus of ichthyosaurs from the Lower Jurassic, living between 198 to 185 million years (Hettangian - Toarcian), in what is now Europe (England and Germany). In the 1980s, a fossil of this species was found in Mantos Blancos, Antofagasta, Chile, and identified as a temnodontosaurus, which demolishes the belief that they were exclusive to European coasts.
