Carcharocles megalodon

Megalodon is an extinct species of mackerel shark that lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago (mya), during the Early Miocene to the Pliocene.
Megalodon had a cosmopolitan distribution, its fossils have been excavated from many parts of the world, including Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Australia.
